Hollywood Walk of Fame

Our nieces and nephews were getting a little restless being out of school so we loaded up and went on little road trip adventure to Los Angeles. They had never been to "Hollywood" so we set out to show them as much as we could.
We took them down Sunset Blvd and then to Melrose. We had lunch at the famous Pink's Hot Dogs. Then to Hollywood Blvd. We only ended driving by Mann Chinese Theatre and then decided to head on down to Beverly Hills. This was the best move of the day because as we entered the beautiful streets of Beverly Hills we stumbled across a filming crew for Entourage. I had my camera ready to go (of course!) . We ended up in the middle of it all, thanks to Tony's mad driving skills. In a matter of minutes I was photographing Jeremy Piven which led to him coming up and talking to me. It was a pretty cool moment especially for all the kids. What more could we have asked for in giving them a true Hollywood experience. Plus I was especially thrilled as I love Jeremy's work. He co-star's in my favorite all time movie Serendipity. After all the excitement we got back on the road and headed to Santa Monica Pier for some Ice Cream and people watching. The perfect ending to a perfect day with the kids.Alexis is too cute to pass up a chance to photograph her. She is such a natural. Let's just say the camera loves her!!

Pinch Me

Being part Irish is really special to me. Traveling to Ireland one day to find our roots and the town named after "Reedy" (my maiden name) is something high on my list of things to do before I die.
St. Patrick's Day is always fun around our house. Complete with traditions of corn beef hash, cabbage and green mashed potatoes. Oh and you better be wearing green or you will get pinched!
Happy St. Patrick's Day

Jonas & Mac

Today is the one year anniversary of the day we welcomed our little precious boys into our family. This day a year ago changed our lives & marriage forever. Tony and I have grown so much in this past year and we owe so much of our joy to our precious boys. I recently stumbled across this poem I wrote shortly after we got them. I never would have believed that two little fur balls could have such an affect on me. Boy was I wrong.

Dear Jonas & Mac,

You are small and fury,
Sure growing in a hurry.

Love to play with toys,
Rowdy little boys!

Stole mommy & daddy’s heart,
Never wanting to be apart!

A special brotherly bond,
Oh are we ever so fond!

Our babies yes you are!
Who love rides in the car.

You are as cute as can be,
And don’t even have one flea.

Thank you God for these precious dogs,
To keep us company on our jogs.

Jonas and Mac you are one of a kind!
Even your messes we don’t mind.

We love you always and forever,
And yes you are so clever!

Love, Mommy & Daddy

My Puzzle Piece

Happy 3 Year Dating Anniversary (our favorite one of them all)
Stroll down memory lane...my place in Laguna, a very long drive, the Mexican border, Harrahs, "The Bread", long talks, "Are we going to keep pretending?", the kiss, The beginning of the rest of our lives...
AJ, you are my puzzle piece. You complete me!
Isn't it amazing how God works? Thank you for keeping Christ the center of our relationship. May He continue to bless our marriage and our family. Isn't it crazy to think back on that first night. It brings such a smile to my face knowing God has bigger and better plans for our lives.
